In Genesis 12, God calls Abram, (later known as Abraham), to leave all he knows and is familiar with behind: his home, relatives, and community. God tells him to embark on a new journey to a destination that is completely unknown. As we see Abraham's journey unfold in the following chapters, we see that his journey is not always easy, but Abraham trusts in God's promises along the way. As a result of his faithfulness, (reiterated in Hebrews 11:8-12), God blesses Abraham, his family, and future generations.

You can feel the same assurance Abraham felt as you faithfully respond to God's call to disciple your children as you homeschool. Through every challenge you face during your homeschool endeavor, you can rest in confidence, knowing you can rely on God's promises each step of the way; He promises to answer your prayers, to strengthen you, to take care of your needs, and to give you rest (Matthew 7:7; Ephesians 3:14, Philippians 4:19; Matthew 11:28).

As you walk faithfully, resisting compromise and seeking counsel through God's word, you will witness Him do more than you or I could ever ask or imagine. God will bless you, your family, and future generations through your faithfulness.

Friends, I feel truly honored to walk alongside you in preparing the next generation to use their compassion, God-given gifts, and sharpened skills to serve others in the name of Jesus!

Home education grants us the perfect opportunity to intertwine love, discipleship, and Bible-based guidance into our children's education every day. If you are like me, you have a deep desire to fulfill this mission well; evidence that you will consistently desire to learn and grow every step of the way. While every journey includes some navigation and growth, good Bible-based resources and encouragement are our lifeline.
